Brand Photography
Today people want to know who they are working with - they want to connect. This is true in product sales and services - accounting, baking, florist, an author. It is also true in business to business or business to consumer industries. It does not matter what industry, having a person brand helps to tell your story and bring in more customers.
A personal branding photoshoot is more than just a headshot. We collaborate to tell your story and the personality of your company through images. This includes lifestyle images of the face of your company and product or prop images, and yes a headshot or two. We have worked with talented entrepreneurs in various industries including realtors, therapists, authors, designers, accountants, and wedding planners to name a few. All of our clients have one thing in common, they have a unique story to tell and want to connect with their customers on a more regular and true-to-life basis.
Not just a headshot - but multiple coordinated brand-specific images you can use on social media, your website, or your own advertising. One image is good, but in today’s marketplace, people need constant updates from you and your website to stay top of mind.
It only takes moments for someone to decide to listen to your opinion or follow your guidance. In today’s society, as the lines between work and home are blurred more and more - what do you want to say? Have you thought about what your image says about you? Is it inviting and professional or a ill-lit selfie? I work with my clients to find out how they want to be captured and bring out the best image possible.
Included services set our brand photo sessions apart.
-
Shot list and timeline creation.
You shouldn’t have to worry about what shot need to be taken or how the session will be structured. We will plan out the photo shoot session and send you a timeline of the day and a shot list. Of course, we want your input, so please review this list and offer your thoughts and suggestions. Together we can stay organized and bring your brand to life.
-
Location sourcing.
The right location can set the session up for success. After the initial branding discussions, we will come up with the best location based on our experience or resources. Sometimes, this will be your office or place of work. But many times, the location will need to be rented and prepped to make the images truly speak your brand.
-
Prop list creation.
All the little details matter in photos. What you hold, what’s on the table or desk are all carefully thought out props to help tell your brand story. Don’t worry about what needs to be included in your photos - laptop, phone, coffee mug, flowers. We will send you a list of props to bring and will pull some from our prop closet as well.
Optional services make the photo session spectacular.
-
Wardrobe consultation.
Sometimes, what to wear can be the biggest challenge for photo sessions! While wardrobe suggestions are standard for our clients, we also offer a more in-depth wardrobe consultation. During the consultation, we will go over options and put together a style board for shopping suggestions. This includes style, accessories, and colors that work not just with your brand, but work best on your body and in front of the lens.
-
Prop & Model sourcing.
Having a prop list of what to bring is helpful, but having someone else bring it all and source the right laptop, or the right flowerpot can be a life-saver. Let us do the shopping and sourcing for you. No matter if it is props you need or if you need extra models for your photoshoot, we can find it. With access to local models and unique details, we will bring everything you need to tell your story and show off your clothing.
-
Hair & Makeup.
Next to clothing, hair and makeup can be the biggest concern as you prepare for photos. Don’t worry, leave it to the pros! We have excellent hair and makeup artists to style you and get you not only camera-ready but ready for your close-up! Together, we will communicate with the artists if the styles need to be natural, or more makeup heavy depending on your comfort level and what matches the brand.
